Pokelu’s first three months: 30+ orders and a big thank you

Pokelu’s first three months: 30+ orders and a big thank you

Pokelu looks back on its first three months: 30+ orders, website improvements, Japanese Pokémon releases, YouTube content and a big thank you.

Already three months of Pokelu

Pokelu has been live for a little over three months now, so I wanted to take a moment to give a small update.

Since the beginning, we have passed 30 orders. For a big shop, that is probably just a Monday. For us, it is already huge.

Every order really means a lot to us. It allows us to buy more stock, test new products, improve the website, and understand what collectors are actually looking for.

So thank you to everyone who has ordered, came back to the website, sent us a message, or simply talked about Pokelu around them.

At the beginning of something like this, every order matters. Every review matters. Even a small nice message means a lot.

Behind Pokelu, there is Elouan and Lucile

Pokelu is still a small shop run by two people.

Me, Elouan, mostly handle the stock, restocks, prices, backoffice, product pages, and all the slightly hidden parts of the website.

Lucile mostly takes care of the admin side, the front of the website, the visible little details, and of course preparing your parcels with a lot of love.

So when you receive a Pokelu parcel, know that it was packed by hand, with care.

The website has already changed quite a bit

Since launch, the website has already moved a lot.

We have added products, improved filters, reworked some product pages, added more information, changed things on the payment side, fixed details, and tried to make navigation smoother.

We want you to find what you are looking for easily. Pokémon displays, Pokémon boxes, boosters, graded cards, accessories, Japanese products, French products, basically Pokémon.

Everything is not perfect yet. There are still pages to improve, details to fix, and things to make clearer. But the website is moving forward.

Trustpilot reviews would really help us

We would also like to start getting reviews on Trustpilot.

When you find a shop you do not know, it is normal to check a bit before ordering. Reviews are made for that.

If you have already ordered from Pokelu and everything went well, a small Trustpilot review would really help us.

Leave a review on Trustpilot, it takes two minutes and it helps us a lot.

The more Pokelu grows, the more we can offer

The goal is not to put three products online and wait for the website to live by itself.

We want to build a real Pokémon shop, with choice, fair prices, interesting products, and clear communication about what we actually have in stock.

The more orders we get, the more we can reinvest into stock. The more stock we have, the more references we can offer. And the more volume we reach, the more competitive we can become on prices.

Basically, you help us grow, and the more Pokelu grows, the more interesting products we can bring in. Pretty healthy logic.

Chaos Rising, Pitch Black and Japanese new releases

There is quite a lot happening around Pokémon releases right now.

For Chaos Ascendant, we did not get as much stock as we would have liked. But honestly, that makes sense, we have no solid distributor access for now.

So we are also working a lot on Japanese products. We are in contact with suppliers in Japan, and when we see good prices on products that could interest you, we go for it.

It will probably arrive in waves, little by little. Not infinite stock falling from the sky, but when we can bring in nice Japanese new releases at a fair price, we will.

Now we are also looking at Pitch Black.

The principle stays the same: no magic promises. When we have real information, we share it.

The Pokelu YouTube channel

Pokelu is also moving forward on the content side.

We are developing a French-speaking YouTube channel around Pokémon, with news, analysis, discussions about releases, the market, sealed products, graded cards, and the Pokémon TCG in general.

The goal is not just to advertise the shop.

We also want to share what interests us, and sometimes what feels a bit weird in the Pokémon market. Because there is plenty to talk about.

If you want to follow Pokémon news in French, or just see Pokelu grow from the inside, the channel is there for that.

Thank you for this beginning

Thank you again to everyone who has trusted Pokelu since the launch.

More than 30 orders in three months is a small win for us.

The next steps will come little by little: more products, more content, more website improvements, and more updates around Pokémon releases.

If you want to help us, the simplest way is to leave a Trustpilot review if you have ordered, follow the YouTube channel, talk about the website around you, or simply come back from time to time to see what is new.

Thank you for the trust.

And thank you for being part of the beginning of Pokelu.

Elouan
